my Yoruba friend says they've said only 1 real phrase, the rest jargon

My Yoruba friend says that Asagai has only said 1 real Yoruba phrase.

When Beneatha answered him on the phone ba wo ni. <- That is an greeting.

The previous phrases in the classroom werent real Yoruba.

No. She is just like she doesnt get they have 1 real phrase with 10 fake ones.

Plus the actor is Yoruba/Nigerian so he coulda said real Yoruba words.
