Everything else but for a different reason for each segment. The Natalie Portman directed one was awesome because the little girl made me feel like I was 8 again. The Brett Ratner one was excellent because.. well.. it's impossible to say why without spoiling but it was good stuff. The Joshua Marston segment ruled because old people are so damn cute. Etc.
My favorite, by far, was the wheelchair story. Years ago a roommate spent about half an hour telling me and another roommate this shaggy dog story about a summer he spent on his uncle's farm in Kansas. We hung on every word until about 30 seconds after it ended and we realized we'd been had. In his story, he made a date with a pretty girl, learned later that she was in a wheelchair, but manned up and had a nice evening. Just like in the movie, they wound up having sex in a park with her dangling from a tree. And, after it was over, he had to face an uncomfortable moment with her father.
So all through this segment, I was laughing uncontrollably remembering Rob's story.
Of course his ended a bit differently. I was hoping James Caan would have thanked the kid, told him that he was grateful for giving his daughter a rare special night out, and said that he could tell the kid was really a great guy. "Because most guys just leave her hanging from the tree."
hahahaha..yeah, that would have been a great line....
This was by far my favorite story too. I liked the fact there was the prom beauty ex, he had to face to as they went into prom. Yet, I think Olivia is very pretty in her own way too. And that really cracked me up when she told him she wanted to dance.
You people are complete MORONS re the wheelchair 'hysterics' unless you're being ironic. Except I don't think you have enough intelligence to be ironic.
Wow. I've read some of your other posts on this board, and you seem to have a chip on your shoulder. Now you've resorted to calling people morons because they enjoyed a segment that you didn't like.
I'm the first to sympathize with a disabled person. Heck, one of my closest relatives was wheelchair-bound for the last 23 years of her life.
You're taking this WAY too seriously. I don't think they shot this segment to offend anyone, nor do I believe that any of the posts here are intended to take pot shots at you.
And if you watch some of the interviews with the actors in this segment I think you'd find that they are very nice people who wouldn't dream of offending someone.
