Good Rating and Reviews in the US

So, this show is cancelled in Canada, but getting good reviews in the US. What happens if SoapNet tries to pick it up for a second season? Is that even possible? The info in IMDB has Kristin Booth moving onto another project, but no one else seems be doing anything permanent. I can't explain the attraction to the show. The only good looking man is Lucas Bryant and the acting is really bad. But I am so drawn to it. I can't get enough!
