I fell asleep and do not understand the story. How did Eric know Gabby and how does nick fit into all this. Why does gabby think Eric is the father did they have an affair. How did nick put it together that it was his baby. Who killed gabby?

Gabby and Eric were college sweethearts. When she found out that he and his wife have a lot of money she decides to find Eric. He tells her the situation and she decides to give him her baby. Nick is her ex and he didn't want her to put the baby up for adoption. Then, Nick decided to kill Gabby and frame Eric in the hopes to win Tracy's affection and then they could raise Sarah together. When that didn't work, he tried to kill her and then to kill Eric when he showed up to rescue his family. It was a very twisted movie.
