If who is the father? It was found that the adoptive father wasn't the birth father it was just in crazy gabby's head. The real birth father is the supposed helpful cop who it was found was on Medical leave. He is a a few french fries short of a happy meal
I fell asleep and missed what happend. Why did gabby think Eric was the father? Did they know each other? and how does Nick the cop fit into all of this?
Caution, spoilers lie ahead:
Gabby and Eric dated a very long time ago. Fast forward a bunch of years, Nick loses his wife and baby during childbirth. Gabby and Nick meet somehow, she is his first girlfriend after the loss of his wife. Gabby ends up pregnant. Gabby and Nick can't agree on what to do about it. Gabby and Eric cross paths again, hence giving us our story about him and Tracy planning on adopting Gabby's baby. Gabby was a little nutty upstairs and for some reason part of her is either still pining away for Eric after all these years, or is in denial about her relationship with Nick, or both. Nick is determined to have his happily-every-after ending with his baby and someone, whether it be Gabby or Tracy. That's pretty much the story line.
