troubled movie ....

Except for all factual mistakes :
- bulgarian song in serbia (although good)
- serbian who is called Largo ?
- where the hell comes Winch from ?
- etc, you can help
...other things I noticed:
The movie was little bit complicated at times or should I say boring - who cares about some kind of merger when you went to see an action ?

What was this character ? Action hero, playboy, heir of a financial empire or troubled yongster with afinity to adventure ? I cant realy answer this question, very vague. This movie does not fall into any genre for me and this could be good if it was little bit more intelligent and provocative. Unfortunately it was kind of shoot with the camera and then think how to explain it.

Quite unconvincing, really.

I don't know of the origin of the name Winch is mentioned, but in the comic it comes from "Winczlav" which was changed in Winch when Nerio got international.

About the name Largo: I don't know.
About the song: Nice to know, and it's indeed a good song.

About the action: They presented it as an actionmovie, and maby that was wrong because so you've seen it isn't really an actionmovie. Personally, I call it just a French movie. They have most of the time something "un-american" if you understand what I means.

About the character: Good one. And when I first read you're question I thought it was simple, but now I'm thinking about it I'm affraid it isn't so simple. Although, I wouldn't call him a playboy or an adventurer. More a Man-of-the-world, who have seen something and know how to fight. Hmm, meaby he IS a little bit an adventurer.

But: He is not an heir of a financial empire. Yes, on the papers he is. But like they said in the comics "They have raised him out of the rich people so he can grow up somekind of normally". Also, in the movie he don't accept the legacy to the end (in the comic, he does it directly..he has allready accepted his future-role what makes the original Largo a little bit different..wiser and older somehow. However he isn't affraid to fight and knows how to survive, but that's more something from his adventurous past).

I hope I have helped you a little bit with this, for me although it was verry interesting.

so the book or comix was quite different again, ok thanks

Yeah, the comics are different. Theyve also deleted and added some characters. For example: In the comic, Freddy is just a pilot and friend of Largo (and, so we learn later, hired by Nerio to find where Largo was when he was missing in the past).

Also, Largo has no brother in the series and comes from Switzerland where is "uncle" holds the Zunkuft Anstalt. He and his wife are murdered at the same time.

I can place a whole list of the changes they have made but meaby you can read them for yourself. They're avaible in English and very enjoyble in my opinion.
