I have not seen this movie yet ,but I do think that Winch without Simon is like Tintin without Haddock.
shareI have seen it, and I'm a real lover of the comics, but I didn't miss Simon. They have verry clever removed him from the story. It sounds weird, I know, but they did it!
But: Because of Jean van Hamme en fans who asked for Simon, he will appear in the next movie.
I'll hope you enjoy the movie. One small tip: Don't hope for a exact movie of the comic, it's more like a "set in now" version with a Largo that hasn't accept his heirness yet.
