There's a scene where Largo takes a boat to a hidden bay or something to get some documents. I think in the movie it's supposed to be in Croatia but I was wondering in which country it is actually located?
Bosnia-Herzegovina, China, Italy, Malta and France are listed as filming locations, but does anyone know where it is exactly?

shareI believe that island was shot in an Island in Italy. I remembered few years ago I was watching this Japanese TV show where the crews went to that island to experience fisherman lifestyle and that island was own by this well known Italian fisherman family.

It is either Italy os Croatia. I am still looking for the answer I couldnt find anything over the internet. I have also posted a Yahoo question, no answers yet. As soon as I find out, will let you know.

shareIt's been a couple of decades since I've seen Popeye, but I think that ring island in that movie is the same one that was used in Heir Apparent Largo Winch . Popeye was filmed in Malta. Checking IMDB shows Malta as one of the filming locations for both movies. I've been unable to find any information on the ring island although there is a lot of information on the Popeye Village in Malta where they built the movie's town of Sweethaven.
