Third Time Around

Joshua is an intelligent and sociopathic young man. Feelings are something you express to justify the means and manipulate others, even your own family. At the end of the movie he said in a flat tone that his sister was important to him. A comforting touch of his grandmother resulted in her injury/death. Joshua doesn't value social interaction and is happier with academic pursuits. He plays piano quit well and with deep feeling. His mother and father ordered him to stop playing piano due to its loudness yet began their own loudness. This alientaed Joshua. The video made by his father and mother during the time of his birth deeply affected Josua and created deep feelings of hurt, resentment and inferiority in his mind. It was around this time that he began to formulate ways to test and anger his parents. At the time of his own wife's need, Joshua's father began an affair with another female and drank heavily and was passive-aggressive with Joshua's mother. Joshua was amazingly accurate in his estimation of eliciting response from his parents. Joshau was intelligent enough to splice video he made hoping his father would see it and go on the offensive giving Joshua opportunities to elicit further strong responses from his father.
