so apparently it has been cast and it's paul dano as the homeless and brian cox as the bar owner...that's unfortunate, as i was really, really excited about the prospect of a waits/gosling team up...best young actor around and one of the all time great musicians/actors? unfortunate..but paul dano was amazing in there will be blood, so there is hope.

Saw it today.

Best part of the movie was the acting by Brian Cox and Paul Dano.

I was looking forward to the film because I enjoyed the dynamic between Cox and Dano in the earlier film L.I.E.. Both Cox and Dano gave good performances in this film (Cox especially with his delivery of some of Jacques' one-liners), but unfortunately it had a story that never went anywhere.
