Roger Ebert thinks this is one of the worst of 2009.

Roger Ebert writes:

" A story sopping wet with cornball sentimentalism, wrapped up in absurd melodrama, and telling a Rags to Riches story with an ending that is truly shameless."

Therefore, I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT to see this movie! In one sentence, he describes everything I like about some movies.

August 10th 2010, I'll be first to rent it.

I agree with him on most movies, but sometimes I think he's in a bad mood when he writes some reviews.

Let's also keep in mind that Roger Ebert thought The Phantom Menace was a great movie.

I wouldnt say worst movies of the year, but it wasn't good, definitely not worth watching.

Roger really did lay into it, Dano's performances always entail some dark melodrama even when they're lighter, he's an actor i can live without.
