Religious?
I am getting a sermon if I see this film?

My understanding is that this is just a cheesy monster movie, there's no underlying message or anything.
So not to worry, the only way someone could find this movie "religious" is if they were one of those psychotic nazi bigots that goes around harassing and insulting people just becasue of their religion. Otherwise, there's no sermon to be found. Go and enjoy the film.
Uh, perhaps you should read some review before opening your mouth. All reviews point to repeated religous discussion.
And for the record, last time I checked, christians were the ones forcing religion onto others, while everyone else just wants to be left alone. Who's really the victim here?

Daaaang. Way to make an ass of yourself, KW. Maybe you should think before opening YOUR mouth and spewing hate at someone who's not even part of the religion you hate so much.

It was getting too "Let's call in the Catholic League, there's a demon on the loose!" for me. I watched it to see B. Moseley. Then I stopped the movie when Preston put on the hand cuffs because it was getting too (unintentionally)funny at that point.
Dumb, dumber or dumbest as horror movies can be, this one is one of the dumbest.
Not only will you be getting a sermon if you watch this movie, but you'll also get one from the IMDB message boards! Sweet.
I know this thread is older than Yahweh but seriously, you guys need to...I don't know. Lighten up? Not everyone who isn't interested in being preached to is a jack-booted Nazi at heart. And pulling family tragedies out of nowhere like that doesn't make you any more righteous or right-minded than anyone else.
