Piazza Navonne scene

Was in Rome recently and in the main tourist areas there are folk everywhere. How did the assassin manage to haul a body into the fountain etc without someone noticing in what is one of the worlds busiest tourist spots?

Also notice that around the fountain of the four rivers (in real life) there was a fence/railing around, yet in the film the van could drive right next to the fountain and there was no fence/railing!

Also noticed that the water of the fountain was not nearly as deep as we see in the movie! Cool scene though

Most of the Vatican scenes, especially the staircase, were filmed in another building entirely; La Reggia Di Caserta, also used in Star Wars prequels.

Very distracting.

Those giraffes you sold me, they won't mate. You sold me queer giraffes.

i went to Piazza Navonne around 11 PM, which I think is around when the assassin goes there too. The number of people in the area is really low at that hour. It would still be very difficult to dump a body there without anyone noticing though

He wasn't trying to hide the fact he was drowing a person (it wasn't a dead body), that's why he tied weights to the body to make sure no one could save him. Assassin knew people will see and try to help the priest from drowning.

Also, he picked a night time to do it. So people around would be low and wouldn't interfere much.
