I am not rally a Primeval fan, but I have seen a few episodes. It will probably come as no surprise that I found the character, Helen Cutter, to be amazing and beautiful. I can't really imagine a more beautiful woman.

It was by accident that I learned her character had been killed in a very violent way. I saw on Youtube that she had been pushed off of a cliff by a raptor and fallen to her death with the raptor falling on top of her.

My question is a specific one: did the fall from the clif kill her? Or, did the raptor, which had grasped her and fell on top of her, crush her when she hit the ground. i can imagine that a 400 pound raptor falling on top of her would squish her and do some very serious internal damage to her body. So, speicifically, what was the cause of her death?

Yeah, Helen was beautiful, but she was evil as all get out. As to her death? Yeah, i agree: it wasn't the fall that killed her. It was the weight of the raptor that crushed her. In fact, if you watch the clip carefully, you can see that the raptor has its back feet pushing into Helen's pelvic area so that Helen is in a jack-knifed position, with her butt down, when she hits the ground. I imagine her death would have been very gory in real life. Possibly with her guts exploding from all kinds of places on impact. I'm glad they didn't show the gory version.

Agreed that Helen was beautiful. However, she was a whack job. However, I'm surprised that she hasn't shown up again. Remember that, after Steven was buried, she showed up at his grave and intimated that he might return. Also, the other thugs all showed behind her, each a duplicate of the other. That's a thread that has been dropped, with no satisfactory conclusion.

I really thought that the vicious blonde (Emily Merchant) who was working with Phillip was going to turn out to be Helen Cutter in disguise again, like she did in season three. I think missed a bet by not doing that.
