Why no Jess and Becker scene in the finale?

so why was there no scene between Jess and Becker in the season finale (and maybe the last episode ever)?
Anyone else disappointed?
Disappointed by the fact we didn't see the irritating, squeaky voiced airhead slobbering over the hunk, definitely NOT ! Disappointed by the fact she's still breathing, most definitely YES.

I thought Jess was the cutest of the lot! ;-) Shame her character didn't get to do more, but she was fun and feisty, and I liked that for a change from the other female characters, she wasn't another 'Ripley running around with a gun'. Not that I mind that either, but it's nice to have a straight forward 'girly' character sometimes as well.
I agree that it would've been nice to see a final scene with Jess and Becker, even if it was just a kiss in a moment of triumph or near-death, that cemented the pair. But neither was it 'missing' terribly, I don't think. It's clear by the end that they'll probably end up a couple. Perhaps they could continue in a spin-off series? ;-)

I just finished season 5, which was amazing, but I was also wished that they could have done a Jess and Becker scene. Everyone else got one. I always wanted to see more interaction between those two. Guess now, we all just have to wait for a season 6, hopefully!!!
shareDon't hold out much hope. Moving the series to watch for the last season was a dreadful idea. Watch has always struggled to get viewers (just look at Richard and Judy). The last series did utterly horribly. The ratings:
Series 1: 6.39million
Series 2: 6.28million
Series 3: 4.99million
Series 4: 4.67million
A fairly large drop off between 2 and 3 there but nothing that couldn't potentially be redeemed.
Series 5: 590,000!!!!!!!
Aka basically a tenth of the average for the first 4. The chances of another series are practically 0.
I have to say that this answer is by far my favorite that I have seen in reference to Jess. She is the only character that I didnt like at all. She just grated on my nerves and so many fans seem to like her that I thought maybe I was just missing something. Glad to know someone else doesnt like her. They have done a horrible job pairing up Becker. I was not a fan of Sarah but I think I preferred her over Jess. Becker needs a gal with a bit more of a backbone than the ones he has been dealt.
What is necessary is never unwise...
