R1 PRIMEVAL: The Complete DVD Packaging + Labeling (thru Season 5) HERE

For those of us in the States who have enjoyed this series in our R1 format, I've compiled a thorough explanation of how the UK labeled (our) product because it is unforgivably confusing. So that no one else loses their mind trying to watch this series sequentially . . .

Through SEASON 5 constitutes 11 DISCS packaged in 4 SEPARATE CASES in which the terms "Volume" and "Series" have been substituted for the intelligible, unambiguous word "SEASON." I know of no other production team that has ever managed to press Seasons 4 and 5 of their series in a case labeled "Volume 3" . . . and then inexplicably merge the episode list of both seasons into one sequence. For anyone new to the series here in America who expected to be able to easily pick-up this series after an interruption, I've taken pity on you and strongly advise you to PRINT OUT the following list and have it handy. The word "Impossible" in Impossible Pictures is apparently a direct reference to the producers' ability to label their own product with something approaching logic:
