I used to enjoy watching this sci-fi series on BBC America back when I
had Direct TV. Though no longer get the channel and am wondering if
Primeval is still in production? Have not seen this show since 2010
and do miss watching it.

Yes they did realease season 4 and 5 in 2011 however nothing since then.
Hopefully, we'll get this great production started again.
Thanks for the update and this week on 8, June the SyFy channel will
debut the movie Primeval: New World at 9pm. Guest starring
Andrew Lee Potts as Connor from the ITV television series. Location
filming was in Vancouver, British Columbia so I'm guessing that
the movie must be an original CBC production.

It isn't a movie it is the Canadian spin off Show - it consists of 13 episodes. It's really good and Connor makes two guest appereances.
Everyone Needs to watch it so that the Show gets picked up for a second season!!!

Well thanks for the explanation and I do plan on watching this debut.
Now I just read a message board link to the Hollywood Reporter dated
02/21/2012 that Space Channel in Canada has canceled the new sci-fi
series due to low ratings. I'm in the USA and my cable provider
doesn't offer the Space Channel and don't know if either Direct TV
or Dish Network does or not.
