Best Documentary!

This is the truth!
I don't understand how a human being can watch this and still be brainwashed. I recommend this to all, and if you truly have some humanity left in you - you'll realize that, This Is The Truth!

To think one documentary can be the truth on a situation so complex is absurd. Looks like you were brainwashed.

Do you really think people don't know what's going on?

Why don't you eat hot death, you twat.

reply

me, brainwashed?... I think you should gain some knowledge outside what you see or don't see on the media before calling me brainwashed you clueless sheep.

reply

Way to call me a brainwashed, clueless sheep who hasn't any knowledge of the situation outside of what I see in the media, without knowing anything at all about me.

But you...

Of all the books, films, etc. made on the subject, to call any one THE TRUTH is absurd, and anyone who does so gives the impression of being clueless. Anytime you want to put your money where your mouth is and school such a clueless sheep like myself, let me know. Then again, you have no idea at all what I know, so where to start?

And make sure not to make any completely baseless statements like the one you just made about me.

sorry "reasonformirrors" but abdi8 isn't coming off as brainwashed to me.. I
watched this film and have seen countless articles and movies on the conflict.
It's more than clear that the jews are in the wrong and haven't an iota of mercy
in them as they slaughter the palestinians.

Note.. I will not get into a debate with you because it's clear you are beyond
learning the facts of this conflict and will follow the "state" of israel and it's
wrong doings blindly.. I wonder why??

reply

"I watched this film and have seen countless articles and movies on the conflict"

Haha. You crack me up. Articles and films? How about you pick up a BOOK or two, or five on the conflict. Actually reading books on the conflict would help. Reading topical articles and watching movies is pointless if you don't the history of the conflict.

Anyone, whether pro-Israel or pro-Palestine, who says that one party is wrong and one is right is over-simplifying, making black-and-white, a very complex issue. It's clear that you don't fully understand the conflict. To say that Jews are slaughtering Palestinians is completely absurd. Please back up this claim with facts! You want to talk about slaughtering? Let's talk about the Arab nationalist group Al-Nadi Al-Arabi (established in 1919 as a response to the Balfour Declaration of 1917), which carried out terrorist attacks against Jewish civilians in Jaffa, Rehovot, Hadera in which women were raped, children were killed, and synagogues destroyed. This was decades before the state of Israel was even created. I can go on and on about Arabs slaughtering Jews. Please back up your claim of Jews slaughtering Arabs.

You won't get into a debate because you don't know the facts. Plain and simple. You know nothing about me, and claim that I am not open to the facts. Please present me with facts. You claim that I blindly follow the state of Israel. That's nonsense. Not once did I ever mention whether I was Pro-Israel or not. I only stated that there's nothing scholarly about putting your faith in one source, as if 90 minute film can offer a definitive answer to a conflict with over 90 years of historical context.

If you know so much and I'm so brainwashed, please enlighten me. I challenge you and anyone else to a debate. You won't get into a debate because you know nothing about the conflict. Read a book, won't you?

Turn on the news.

"Let's talk about the Arab nationalist group Al-Nadi Al-Arabi "

No lets not - that's ancient history.

"Not once did I ever mention whether I was Pro-Israel or not."

Your posts reveal that.

Hi there to both of you. Very interesting both your opinions.
I am not Pro-P or Pro-I but the freaking fact is that Palestinian people and children are killed and this is what should be stopped. This has nothing to do with brainwashing or anti-semitism. I am a Greek and if the Islaeli came to Greece and occupied our lands we wouldn't just standing there without doing something to throw them away. We would organise hundreds of "terrorist" organisations cause we would if not LOVE, be obliged to become terrorists, rapists, murderers, destroyers of property and so on in order to free our land and our people. and this is also a fact.

Having been to Israel on numerous occasions (with family in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv), as well as having taken several Religion and War courses in college, I have been able to study, learn, and even witness many perspectives from both the Jewish and Palestinian sides. Though the aggressive actions of the Israeli government are difficult to clearly justify at first glance, the issues surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are extremely complex and span many generations.

For those who see Israeli's as simply the "occupiers" of a previously peaceful nation, this is just untrue. The United Nations was the first to assist in the immigration of Jews to the former land of Palestine as a result of the religious persecution during the holocaust. Since then, Israeli occupancy has drastically increased, which naturally resulted in strong resistance from Palestinians. Initially, this resistance was in the form of traditional warfare (i.e. 1948 Arab-Israel War, or the 6-day war...) but in a simple matter of fact...the Israeli military (IDF) prevailed.
Additionally, the very land that is being fought over is believed to be "entitled" to both Jews and Muslims (not including Christianity and other faiths). This adds an entirely different issue of religion, which accounts for much of the radical viewpoints felt by both sides.

I am not claiming to know the answers, or the correct position to take...But I DO know that It would be impossible to generate an adequate understanding of the issues regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict without thoroughly exploring the subject. No one source could ever provide a full-bodied explanation, let alone a single hour-and-a-half documentary. To truly understand something so complex, you cannot take an individual view at face value and interpret it to be fact without questioning anything.
Engage yourself to learn about a subject from various (even conflicting) sources, and THEN generate your own ideas.

sure its the truth, yeah buddy.

keep telling yourself that. mission impossible is making people who strap bombs to themselves and target exclusively civilian population centers into some sort of humanitarian doll. hats off to whoever thinks thats "truth."

look at my profile and my history.

my favorite country is Jordan. 70% plus of the palestine mandate lies there, across the river jordan.

you don't see anyone fighting them for the land back. thieves! oh wait, they aren't jews? nevermind.

also nevermind the Qur'an never once references Jerusalem, its holy because we all say it is.

reply

oh and a greek saying they aren't antisemtic is hilarious. thank you for making my weekend.

i'm not jewish either, nor am i a republican. i just don't drink the koolaid very easily and have found that these "books" really show more truth than these 'moving pictures' and 'articles' made to only show one agenda.
