A Season Two?

My son told me someone he knows online says there is going to be a Season Two of Mushi Shi. I was all excited and went looking for information but none to be found -- at least in English. The manga author did write three to four more volumes of extra Mushi Shi stories, enough to make a season two, and I have been hoping they'd get around to it eventually. I hope it's not a false rumor! Mushi Shi is still my favorite anime series of all time. Just love the character of Ginko and miss him a lot.
