She was actually asking if 'olam' was spelled with an aleph or an ayin, I think. It's interesting how you have to innovate like this in translating for subtitles..

Thanks for posting this, it helped clear that up for me... it practically detracted from my understanding of what was going on in the film... my DVD doesn't have Hebrew subtitles, only English (and French), and I only understand a little Hebrew, at least enough to listen to that scene 3x trying to hear a "lamed" :)
