Wow!

I've never been so ashamed of being a horror movie and comic book fan. That was so incredibly lame. Even with the Grindhouse trailer.

No, no, no, don't tug on that. You never know what it might be attached to.

Yeah, it was pretty lame. It seemed like this whole award show was kissing Tarantino's and Rodriguez's ass the whole time, leaving sooo may other good Horror films in the dust that deserved to be on the nominations. Oh well, they're too good for something too comercialized anyway.

yeah, some pretty lame movies were mentioned and no good ones. What a piece of crap awards show :(

reply

Any awards show where Jessica Alba and Kate Beckinsale pick up hardware is just a crappy middle of the road effort and unwatchable for anyone with an I.Q over 60.

"I know I shouldn't be asking you this. I'm up a tree with this guy. I mean...Man!"

reply

The only good movies they showed were "Saw 2" & "Land of the Dead".

reply

It was terrible, as a horror fan I can honestly I was on the edge of being offended. Hills Haves Eyes, and The Descent didn't get nominated, or win a single award. Pirates, Batman Begins, and X3 won awards...like W.T.F?!?

reply

But the Montage of the Tarantino and Rodriguez movies
was AWESOME!!!

"If they had told me it was going to be fifteen years, would it have been easier to endure?"

reply

yes, but it still sucked

reply

Amen to that. First off, George Romero got screwed for best mutilation scene. I haven't seen anything that holds a candle to zombie flicks when it comes to mutilation scenes, especially anything of his. Not to mention most of the movies that the Devil's Rejects was stacked to win against were ones I wouldn't have anywhere near the Best horror movie category. I did like that Jessica Alba won Best Superheroine, though, and Brandon Routh winning Best Superhero wasn't too bad.
