I am in this movie

If anyone has seen this movie and has seen a goofy looking guy in a green suit two sizes too big in the background of the 'wedding seen' (assuming that it wasn't cut) thats me. i was on the streets of mumbai when my friend and i were asked to be extras.

I believe it was the scene where akshay's friend was married, but i didn't know that there were so many weddings, it definitely wasn't the first or last one. I was paid about 500 rupees (12$) for 13 hours, it was a pretty fun process, a lot of takes... getting yelled at by the director for not being "quiet on the set" Overall i was pretty tired at the end of it all and glad that i don't have to do that stuff every day

I was also an extra on the same day on this film and travellers who decide to fo it for a day do so because it's an experience and v.interesting, the money doesn't matter!!!

My son was an extra in this movie in Sydney and he got paid 116 bucks. He was there for about 7 hours.

Which leads me to ask since we haven't seen the movie - is the scene with the kids running with the balloons in the movie or did it get cut? He might also be in the background in the scene where the guys and the baby are on the merry-go-round - is that scene in there?

Being asked to be in a mainstream film even when one isn't a professional extra is a privelege and like a payment itself - these unprofessional extras usually gets paid between nothing and £20 all over the world. 500 rupees may be equivalent to $12, but it can buy a lot more than what you can buy in the US. You should remind yourself that India is a developing country where money being wasted on entertainment isn't a main priority.

I was in the film too, as an extra, I was the one of the people running with the animal costumes on. I don't know, however, if that scene was cut.
