When are they going to make Christopher Pikes The Last Vampire?!

Loved those novels. They were the predecessors to Twilight with the whole teenage vampire thingy..

Oh, they are making that one. Michael Bay is set to produce, write and direct it.

I totally agree, but only if they actually put real effort into the series and don't try to squish three of the books into one or something.

Ugh. Hated Pike's The Last Vampire. The first 10 pages were AMAZING and then every page after that over the next three books was unbearable. Alisa was so boring and Ray was such a little boob. I was so happy when he died.

As a kid I was obsessed with the Anita Blake series. THAT was a good vampire series. (up until the 10th book or so.) Guilty Pleasures should be a movie, not Pike's trilogy.

There are 9 books in Last Vampire series.

The first few were good, but he struggled to end the series. IMO, the last decent book in the series was #3, and they went down hill from there.
