He's not going to appear. It was announced in 2005 that he was being replaced by Darby.

Sorry you are wrong there it was announced that Darby would be the main character and Christopher Robin would appear in a couple. He has actually been in an episode called Christopher Froggin and was played by a boy called Straun Erlinborn (something like that anyway!). He is apparently American/Scottish. Accent is not a traditional as Christopher Robin should be but is quite sweet.
shareFair enough. I was only going by what was announced back in 2005. As you will see the link I gave does not say that Christopher Robin would be appearing in any episodes.
shareI don't see why there was a need to replace him. The whole show is a huge letdown, and carries none of the charm that pooh has. It is simply another cheap cgi disney morning show, that doesn't even know what its target audience is by the topics it covers.
Deterrence is the art of producing in the mind of the enemy... the fear to attack
Just curious - what would you say the target audience of the show is?
I can understand how it might seem a letdown to an adult - who this show is not made for - I mean, CSI has WAY better mysteries. ;) I think this rendition of Pooh is tremendously charming, the CGI is beautiful and not cheap. And CR isn't replaced, as pointed out above.
I thought they were going to continue the storyline of Christopher Robin growing up and moving on, and Pooh and the others having a new little friend to play with. The storyline started at the end of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but was never fully realized, what with that awesome '80s TV series and specials and whatnot.
But, I guess it's still yet to be realized for CR has turned up in a recent episode, still as a child.
Well, I'm not sure what you mean. I think the idea is that Christopher Robin has grown up... sort of. Remember that in Pooh's Grand Adventure, everyone was worried about him going to "skull?" Well, he probably is in school, quite a bit, and that's why we see so little of him nowadays. He's "growing up" all right, he's just not "grown up."
