I cannot believe disney channel is investing so much in this kid. They are trying to sell him as the next will smith or something. That whole stupid, mischievous young black male act is straight out of the fresh prince of bel air handbook. He is a terrible singer/rapper, completely unattractive, unathletic, short, fat, and unlikable. He's the polar opposite of a young Will Smith. Also, I dont like the stereotypes he displays that disney flaunts. "No one gettin they money back!" "Come on girl" What sort of english are they trying to teach kids? are they suggesting it is acceptable to adress women that way? I understand that disney channel has to have a show with a black star for their black audience in the PC world that we live in, but they could definately do much better than this goof ball. They would be doing their black audience justice by firing him. Furthermore, the show is completely unrealistic. Sure its the disney channel, but they are not fooling any of the 10 year olds who watch it. A pretty popular girl like meena would never like a fat rude ugly ass hole like Cory. I wont even get in to the racial overtones, just the simple fact that they are not in the same social class. It just doesnt work that way. Thats more of a disney fairy tale than cinderella.

Rude? Really? That kid is such a coward! How the hell is he rude? If you're oing to criticize a show, do it correctly.

Microsoft Works is now being used in English classes as a perfect example of an oxymoron.

I think the main reason that he has a show is to keep that spinoff element. See, he was on That's so raven. He used to be a cute little kid. Disney looooves to recycle actors all over the place, I even saw the country club manager play a bit role as a lawyer on Boston Legal in the same episode that the girl from Read it and weep played an AIDS victim. Disney can't help it. But yeah Corey's lines are pretty bad, but I do have some African American friends who watch the disney channel do talk like that sadly. I don't think they're trying to push him too much as a rapper though, they let him rap for Underdog. Underdog. They wouldn't make Hannah Montana sing for that, they shove Kyle Massey in it. I think they need to start promoting that poor girl who plays Meena, once you get used to her "Bahavian" accent, she's not that bad. But yeah, Kyle Massey is annoying, I hate how his character is greedy and scheming all the time, it doesn't teach that great of moral lessons (in the end of the episodes, they'll say "Don't be greedy!" and he has to mop, there needs to be more plots.) I can't imagine him as a super popular kid in a band with very few social problems other than his old bully visiting.

I think you don't like Kyle Massey because he's not some traditional blond kid that normally gets pushed in these type of situations. I don't know if you're a racist or you just have nothing better to do than pick on a 16yo kid that's got a good deal in life.

WTF? This is TV show. Their social class doesn't matter. I think you are hung up on his race.

kyle is a crappy actor though...jason dolley makes this show.

I agree. I dont watch this show but if i was going to it would be to see Jason not Kyle. I much prefer Kyles brother, much better actor

and he is such a jerk he always promises to do something with sophie and he never does it

This is a really bad cringe-worthy spin-off. No offence to Kyle Massey, but Cory's just not a very likeable character, he grew out of his cuteness after season 1 of Raven and Kyle I think needs a few more acting lessons.

Disney should've made a spin-off with Chelsea and Eddie.
