I have found a PROVEN way to watch and download the SMITH episodes from CBS Innertube. (Credit goes to joonas from the EZTV forums)
You must get these three programs (just google them):
1. Anonymous Friend
2. WM Recorder
3. Steeper
Just keep testing the proxies using Anontmous Friend until you find a US one
that is fast enough to browse with.
WM Recorder does most of the work itself, do not change any of its default
settings as they are correct as is. Enter the website http://www.cbs.com/primetime/smith/ into the URL space and then just let innertube play the episode through and it will download the four pieces of each episode as you go. (Watching it streaming is horribe).
Steeper is a simple and effective tool for connecting the four parts into one file after you have downloaded them all.
I live in Australia and was shattered when I found out that not only was Smith cancelled after only 3 episodes but I also couldn't even watch the 4 unaired ones.
Hopefully all you Smith fans can enjoy these episodes and then curse CBS for their horrible treatment of the best show on TV this season.
I hope John Wells and Christopher Chulack pursue their creative interests with moe supportive television networks that don't instantly dismiss shows that don't conform the generic mould.
