does it have some kind of resolution?

Sort of. The do reveal some shocking stuff in the final episode and while it leaves you hanging as to what the family ends up doing, you aren't left ottally confused. I am sad it didn't continue, but let's just say that the show went from really good to awesome in the last 10 minutes.
