Men in Trees on DVD

Any rumor on Men in Trees going to DVD? If so, when?

reply

I saw a copy of three episodes (it was used for Emmy consideration) on Ebay recently. But since the show was canceled, I'd be surprised if they decided to issue it on DVD.

I don't know if they are going to release it on DVD, but you can find Men in Trees on Amazon.
At their place you can sign up to be notified about when it gets released.

I suspect it's definitely not in Warner Bros.' immediate plans, though it should be. It should definitely also make it onto Blu-Ray. That gorgeous Alaskan cinematography looked so good in HD.

Actually...gorgeous British Columbian cinematography!

Please, don't tease me. I would buy in a second and make my boyfriend sit through every episode.

I just hope that they soon figure out that perhabs it was a good idea to release it on DVD, they could do it as a complete series box with both seasons in one packeging.
The trail they keep holding now just leads to elligal downloads of HD-MKV with 5.1 sound from the internet, since those are easy to convert into DVD with 5.1 sound.

Amen! I was hoping this thread would say they had released it already. :(

reply

I was also hoping that they've released it by now, are there any news about a release?

I have made the same threat to my boyfriend. I have been scouring the web trying to find both seasons, but no luck. Anyone else have any ideas?

reply

Instead of DVD, then i would rather see it released on Blu-ray, considering it has been transfered to HD. So why settle for less when you can get more ?

I asked Jenny Bicks on twitter about a bd release. It wasn't good news.

I have the 2 seasons of Men In Trees on dvd (one of my favourite show's ever) but I believe they are from a pirated source.
I don't know whether it would be kosher to put the link of where I purchased them on here but if you would like to message me I'd be happy to send it to you.
The source I have has many 'hard to find' tv shows up for sale and they come from a U.S address and will send to anywhere in the world.
I hope I won't get into trouble for posting this but as someone who lives in Australia where we pay a premium price for dvd's and we don't have subscription services like Netflix etc - sometimes you have to source from 'outside the box'.
