I loved this show and hated how it was messed up by the writer's strike, time slot moves, etc. And I especially hated the character assassination of Patrick in the last few episodes.
I know the creators were hoping for a third season and trying to end on a cliff hanger, but it ended the whole series on a sour note for me.
Wish they could have had even an eight episode season three to give the show a proper wrap-up.
i also still miss this show. i don't know many people who liked it except for me. when it first came out, i remember my friends dismissing it condescendingly as "satc crossed with northern exposure" but i actually took to the show almost immediately. it really is a such a huge pity that season 3 never took off.
