So mad with ABC.......

I cant believe this....
This ending is beyond crap!!

It cant be the last episode of the show, this isnt a series finale ending.
First, I heard that it'll last 11 weeks and 22 episodes and then 13 and now 12!!

If ABC took the 13th episode off the air cos of ratings, it's a big giant laugh to everyone who watched it every week (like me).

I m so MAD. I loved that show and it deserved better........

I'm so disappointed with the way tings work with new shows this year.

I'm gonna call ABC right now.

networks are real impatient, people are so impatient nowadays...

You should call. It couldn't hurt. ABC needs to know what shows people want renewed. I sent an e-mail through the ABC website. I don't know if it will make a difference, but at least I tried.

Today's network executives don't seem to understand that there can only be ten shows in the top ten.

reply

Not true. In fact, thanks to American Idol & Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? we now only have 5 shows in the top ten.

The shows are such a load or reality driven swill; here was one genuinely funny, clever show with a great ensemble cast and they pull it?

And now NBC is doing some stupid second-hand version called Wedding Belles? Give us back our Big DAY!

For what it's worth, I sent my two cents to ABC regarding the cancellation of the show. It wasn't great, but it's certainly better than mindless entertainment like DANCE WARS, and it stars Diora Baird (and I am a straight man), but I digress ...

I also asked them to draw the series to a nice conclusion when they put it on dvd.

So here it is, April 2008 and I still think of this show from time to time. I loved it, and wish it would come back someday soon! Big Day was big fun. All the characters were loveable and quirky, especially the bride's mother, loved her.

I have this show set to record on my Tivo (actually my Dish DVR) so that I'll catch it if they bring it back. I'm sure the writers could keep it going for many seasons with their creative planning.
