Ah,shut up, you rich *beep* conservative executive! I'm sick of folks like you who believe the war is still actually worth $12 million of our tax dollars being pumped into it EVERY damn month, despite the fact that we are no closing to winning it than we were 5 years ago!

No more blood for oil.

You do realize the US doesn't get most of their oil supply from the Middle East, right?

We actually get most our oil from Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia. Oh, and ourselves. 38% is from the US. Only 12.9% comes from the Middle East and a third of that comes from Saudi Arabia.

It's not about the oil. at least not since the 1950's or 1960's. Back then it was about the oil, today...not so much.

We also have stored in reserves in Louisiana and Texas 700 million barrels with about 27 billion barrels in total reserves. The entire world has in reserve 1.5 trillion barrels.

While oil is important in this day and age, it's not the reason for all wars in the Middle East, or elsewhere. If it was then people would be attacking Saudi Arabia since they have the highest production of oil in the Middle East, and tied with Russia for the entire world.

Beginning your post with a condescending question rather than a direct statement impedes the transit of the message.
But yes, there are other countries with oil. However, there are many variables in the oil industry including history and relationship the U.S. has with those countries. Also, where are your sources?
