Sadly this movie isn't as great as he could be. Stand-out-animation but the story and the fights aren't really great. No drama, no emotion and no Saint Seiya feeling :(

The movie felt like the other movies but better to a degree, probably due to the extended length compared to the other movies. The reaosn it doesn't feel Saint Seiyaish is because the soundtrack is by a different composer. This composer is very good but doesn't fit the style that we learned to love. Also Ikki and Shun fighting the same enemy together isn't like Ikki.
shareIMHO this movie is great. I love the "morality" : humans fighting against their mortality and being not perfect, the bravery and guts that mortals have (what does't kill us make us stronger)
The part where Saori "kills" Seiya then say "sorry" for making him suffer is awesome, the music is beautiful and Seiya's speech is perfect
The romance Seiya/Saori (and to a lesser extent between Toma/Artemis) is really well done
My favorite St Seiya movie with Abel (which I love since my childhood = VHS souvenir) I just hope they'll continue to give us great movies like this one
