i love this movie, it's so icelandic. ingvar was truly great and the soundtrack, mygod, it was so beautiful i almost cried. can't wait to see what the world will think about it.

I have to say I was a littel disappointed. A great novel, not so great movie...
and bad light!
Thought this movie was pretty good, it has great atmosphere and good acting as well as a decent story line it was kind of hard to follow watching it in subtitles with such an intricate plot but it all ties in together at the end. Worth the watch definitely.
shareIt was OK - watchable and a bit different... It was interesting, as we don't usually get to see any Icelandic films and TV in Britain. Though, BBC4's current "Iceland season" should go a little way to changing that... "Næturvaktin" tonight, which I'm interested to see.
