I really do like this movie but Margo...

I dunno...women are interesting. I am one.

Some actual real world situations:
Why is it that serial killers in prison, men in widely seen criminal cases who are shown to be far less than appealing (like that guy whose wife killed all 5 of their children), people like Jerry Sandusky even - all have a woman standing by their side? Have you ever been out and seen a disgusting jerk-ass walking around with a beautiful woman on his arm?

So...do you still think that the Lars situation is a complete impossibility? In his case, he has shown himself to be sensitive, troubled but needy. He talks about never cheating on a woman. He comforted/rescued Margo's bear. It's a lot more complicated - and she was a bit of a strange bird too who always did like him in some way before his psychotic break.

It's not that simple, and even in the real world I guess I just wouldn't be surprised. Because in real life, real women choose men who are a whole lot worse than Lars.

Yet.... she may like him because she finds him attractive and endearing. Lars is a good looking guy, despite his obvious odd nature.

Also, being an introvert is not a negative thing. It is just part of someone's disposition or not.

I have a friend who told me that she wants to be murdered by a serial killer.

Some women are cray cray.

Was Margo so ugly that she was cute or just so ugly?

I can't wrap my head around it.
