HR: PROPHECY YouTube debut this Halloween...

...because that date is as good as any. So, after you see Saw3, if you're at home and bored, check out YouTube or iFilm for the DVD version of HELLRAISER: PROPHECY (2006).

Note: The DVD itself still won't be ready until 2007, but this way you'll get to see the film first and decide whether or not you want to download the entire whopping DVD. :)

Is there a means of downloading it now though? Perhaps start a torrent for it? I'd be willing to seed it if you need some people to start it up. Also, I'm a web designer and a graphic artist. If your interested in having a professionally designed site for your movie to make it easier for your fans then you can contact me. I'm a fan and I'd give you a hell of a deal.

Thanks for answering in advanced.

Hey there, sorry for the delay in response... I'd appreciate any support when the movie's ready for wide distribution, but for right now, I'm going to stick to streaming. When the DVD is complete (HRP + bonus material and DEMONS TO OTHERS) then I'll work on distributing it, but yes, BitTorrent seeding is definitely the strongest and easiest distribution right now...

Thanks for your offer of help, I may yet take you up on it... Interested in what your rates are... I'll drop you an email soon...

Many thanks again for your interest!

Can you give us the address where we can send a SASE to receive a Region 1 DVD when it is available? Thanks!

If your film is quite graphic, as I hope it will be, won't YouTube take it down?

All I can remember now is the agony of holding on and the wonderful feeling of letting go.

That's actually something I hadn't considered... The film isn't all that gory; we have one stabbing and one chaining scene... They're somewhat vivid, but hopefully they'd skate by on par to a PG-13... I'm not sure. In either case, if they do take it down, I'll likely redirect to another site (perhaps iFilm? I'm willing to entertain suggestions for alternatives), but let's see what happens...

The YouTube terms of use describe "unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate," with "otherwise inappropriate" as being their umbrella term... The Community Guidelines only describe Real Violence, and no shock videos... I don't think this exactly qualifies, but, we'll see what happens...

Thanks for the heads-up; forewarned in forearmed...

Hey folks,

So, it's ready to go... Those who want to give a gander at the fan film HELLRAISER: PROPHECY can find it in two parts at YouTube.

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hZE_cZ1QiY
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuL9tMhvEwg

At the conclusion of the film in Part 2, there are also two trailers, one for the DVD features, and the other for DEMONS TO OTHERS (2007).

Just remember not to expect a studio work... We were out to tell a story the best we could under the circumstances of experience and budget, while trying to have a good time doing it.

Many many thanks to all...

I was hoping YouTube would be more user-friendly. I can't see the fanfilm except for 5 second snippets, then wait another 20 seconds to see the next 5 seconds. I hoped that YouTube would be 56K modem speed friendly. Please let us know what address to send our SASE to obtain a DVD. Thank You!

With youtube.com.. even with a 56k modem... you wait for the stream to load in it's entirety and then you view it.. that cuts down on the frustration of having to view it in 20 second chunks like you are.. patience.. patience.. Hellraiser is so worthy of your patience...
