I sure can...

Right now, the best way to see this film is to go to one of its screenings... You can find the screenings listings at http://www.hellraiserprophecy.com/hrp/screenings/

I'm hoping to master the DVD for release on or around Thanksgiving. This film is NONPROFIT, and therefore will be distributed free via 1) mail order or 2) direct download through bittorrent and filesharing programs. Once that becomes available online, I'll probably also upload the film itself to YouTube, TheForce.net and iFilm, if I can, for those who aren't necessarily interested in the trouble of a DVD.

Right now, we're still working on a short Making-of documentary, entitled DEMONS TO OTHERS: THE MAKING OF "HELLRAISER: PROPHECY". We'll be reshooting a few effects sequences for the DVD version in July. The DVD will have three commentary tracks, gag reel, teaser and the Making-of. Again, we're aiming for late November...

Keep checking the News section of www.hellraiserprophecy.com for info... I'll post here when the DVD is ready...

The downloadable files will likely be Region 0 (unencoded), but on request, it's a fairly simple matter for me to make a Region 2 version... That would probably work through free mail order... We could figure that out later...

...the harder issue would be making a PAL version. I've tried, and, to a point, done it, but it does not look pretty... :)

I was interested in featuring your fan film on my website FOREVER HORROR - http://www.michalak.org/fh/ - but I usually don't do so until I've seen the fan film in question. I have some very good fan films featured on the site, but haven't had anything new ones in a very long while. It's nothing personal regarding needing to see the film first, but I have been duped before (and had some seriously horrific fan films submitted). I love both franchises (at least the Walken PROPHECY films), and so, I'm very intrigued. Though, I live near Chicago, and have no way to attend any screenings. So, until your fan film becomes available for free distribution, I'll hold off on my offer.

Hello, I would really LOVE to get this on a Region 1 DVD! How can I get one sent to me? Are there any DVD-ROM features? I appreciate there being a Bloopers section. I hope it is as long and funny as possible. Will a copy of the original Trailer(s) be available on the DVD as well? Thank You!

Hi, thanks for the interest! The DVD version isn't mastered yet, but will be available for free distribution via download or SASE... (If money's being sent to anyone, send it to Dimension to help me avoid their wrath, or more fittingly, send the money to Clive Barker.) :D

The DVD is slated to have a gag reel, the trailer and a short documentary, called DEMONS TO OTHERS: THE MAKING OF HELLRAISER: PROPHECY which is still in post-, and very behind schedule. The good news that it will contain interviews with a few familiar faces, not just ours. :D

It's scheduled to be ready by November, but with graduate school rearing its ugly head, I'd be lying if I didn't say that it was running behind schedule... I'll keep posting updates here...

Hello guy.

Was curious if there was an area where we could place an advanced order for your DVD? Might be a help to you if you had a general idea of how many fans want this. From word of mouth and from what I've seen so far, your work on this is something I definitely want in my Hellraiser collection. And as a fan, I'd rather have the DVD instead of loading it from some website.

In the meantime, I'll keep checking your website and here at IMDB.

Greetings, thanks again for the interest, and yes, I intend to pursue BitTorrent distribution, as well as two other distribution options as well.

As to where the project is right now, the menus are just about done, and we've got subtitles in English, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German... Only one of the two commentary tracks have been laid down, but that will be done soon. The Special Features are all in order; the last thing we're waiting to complete is DEMONS TO OTHERS (2007). Once that's done, I'll finish mastering the DVD, and then release it online... I'm guessing early Spring... Will keep posting info here and at http://www.hellraiserprophecy.com/hrp/news/

Hello again, it looks like you now have three options for getting the DVD. Do all three options contain a DVD case and artwork? I guess your original thought of sending a padded SASE is no longer financially feasible? As always, loved the film Jonathan, just wish I could get it for free via DVD.

Sorry for the confusion, but yes, padded SASE with a blank DVD is the second of the three options, so yes, that will still very much be a way to go...

1) File transfer via BitTorrent or eMule
2) Padded SASE with a blank DVD
3) Monetary Donation

Any of those three will be the way to go, so that would #2 for you. As to artwork, for those who take the SASE option, I will likely send a link to a downloadable image so that you can print the artwork yourselves... but that's far from finalized.

First things first, must get the DVD mastered... :D We're almost there... http://www.hellraiserprophecy.com/hrp/news/ DEMONS TO OTHERS is only missing music, and some audio cleanup... Other than it, it's pretty much done, which means that the HRP DVD shouldn't be too far behind... The only hitch is that I'm waiting for a screening date for DEMONS TO OTHERS. Once that's set, I'll release the DVD...

I am one of the many that opted for the $10 donation to get the DVD sent to us.
Just one question:
What is the compatibility differences for DVD-R and DVD+R?

Your DVD comes out in these formats, but which is best for me?

I would like to play it in both my regular Region 1 DVD player and my computer's DVD-ROM drive.

What would you recommend?

I don't know if you got my last email to you but I was wondering how much the monetary donation would be. I would prefer to not have a file transfer or a blank DVD of your film, but an official looking DVD with case and artwork and insert included. Any idea of a final amount? Thanks! A great fan film!

Hey Mike... It's still a little soon to tell, because I'm mulling over different DVD duplication services and their respective pricing, but my round guess is that a donation in the area of $10-12 to kuifilms.com will likely be sufficient for me to send out a DVD of HELLRAISER: PROPHECY and DEMONS TO OTHERS as a thank you, postage paid (for domestic donations. Overseas donation threshold will likely be somewhat higher.)

Thank you for the support! Glad you enjoyed! For our next HR project, I'll be bringing on a trained Director of Photography, and casting trained actors as well, so hopefully our next project will be even stronger... :)
