Making of This Movie was the real Facing the Giants!

I find the story of Sherwood Pictures, a little movie outreach from Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia to be the real inspiration.

Whether you are a Christian or not, the idea that this group of people decided that they were going to make a movie and get it distributed and advertised, against the Giants of Hollywood, and then succeeded, is amazing!

Time and again, they ran up against what looked like insurmountable problems and managed to either leap over or dodge around the problems. Besides the message of the Gospel, this movie has the message of perseverance.

Great analogy! This film is a "10"
Because the actors were not "actors" in reality, makes it even more exceptional. Don't rate these people against the Hollywood stars. They never said they were Hollywood stars. That's what's so cool about this film. They are mostly all just members of their church. The students, the teachers, the coaches, announcers, everyone with a speaking part in Facing The Giants did a fantastic job.
