It came as a big surprise to me, especially since she was by far the most likable character in the film.

On one hand, I think it was a great twist. On the other, it's a shame her character had such a *beep* time of it. She should have at least outlived her *beep* boyfriend.
This was one of the reasons her sudden exit shocked me a little as well. But I guess her quick and relatively painless death compared to the prolonged and horrible death of her boyfriend was supposed to be some sort of karmic justice. share
Watched the film for the first time today and I was definitely shocked that she was killed so early. I had her pegged as the Final Girl so it was a real surprise when she got an axe in her head lol!
