The BBQ scene

I just talked about this scene with someone else who saw it with me. I thought it was pretty dumb that the people did not realize what they were eating or that they did not notice the burned up truck before they ate. That scene was pretty lame.

Agreed. It just looked plain dirty and they weren't out there that long to settle for anything. It was only like a few hours into the program.

Very predictable, i knew as soon as they dicovered the BBQ that it was a person being grilled. And would anyone seriously eat something when they didnt have a clue what it was?

Rant over, rest of the film was pretty ok.

You guys act like cannibalism is soo common or something, it is deeply taboo and illegal in this county, reserved only for serial killers and those hell-bound. Plus it was a reality show, they probably thought that it was purposely set up for them.

Is there even a slight less-than-1% chance, in the USA, that ANYONE in their life has actually worried if meat that they ate it came from a person?!??!

I just ate a piece of loose skin that I pulled off my finger, does that count? 

The meat looked pretty f#ckin good to me. That scene made me hungry.

And as another posted has mentioned, the "burned up truck" was just part of the scenery for the TV show

Uh, of course you knew it was human meat... you're watching the movie, you have 18,000 times more information on what's going on than the characters do.

To them, it was BBQ, and it smelled good, and they needed food to survive.

Makes 100% sense to me, that scene.
