a love for which someone would die for.
daniel acted selfish,
selfishness is by definition not part of this "ultimate love"-concept.
so her interpretation was that he didnt love him.
its not a coherent argumentation,
cause daniel could have fallen in love later,
after he got free.
but okay...
a not so "ultimative love" would have been possible anyway.
