Movies don't get much worse than Walking Tall with the Rock. I like the Rock and he did well in that movie, but the script was God-awful. Basically, there was just enough dialogue to tie fight scenes together and what was with that ridiculously long scene of ripping that truck apart? Were they that desperate for time filler??? Anybody believe Vince Vaughn could go toe-to-toe with The Rock in a fight? Not me. Like I said, I like the Rock...loved Gridiron Gang and The Rundown, but Walking Tall was awful. The original from the 70s was a much better movie. Anyway, does Blockbuster or Hollywood have Part 2? I haven't been able to find it.

if ur gonna bitch about a movie at least know who is in it. that is Neal McDonough not vince vaughn, completely diff looking/acting ppl. one does action movies and the other does comedies

I had to wait with replying to this until I could finally watch The Rock's Walking Tall version.

Yes, both The Payback and Lone Justice are way better: the scripts are better, the dialogue is better, the directing is incomparably better, the fights a hell of a lot 'realer', which also makes them have a 'meaner' touch that's quite appropriate for this kind of movie, the score is far more opportune and also simply better composed and performed - and the acting is very impressive, while Johnson's version simply has... no acting at all.

You definitely need to go see more movies: they are all the 'same thing' ever since High Noon. However: The Payback is more of the 'good same thing' and the WT-version with THe Rock unfortunately is anything but...
