It wasn't *that* bad

I dunno, I kind of liked it. Sure, it wasn't the greatest piece of cinema ever to be made, and it did have some faults. But I didn't think the storyline was that bad, and I did stay interested up to the end.

I am watching it right now, Monday 3/29 on the Western Channel
and it looks flat scarey to me!
The synopsis says its good vs evil I am wondering who wins?

I came across this on Encore Westerns in the wee hours of this morning, and I'm glad that I did! I think it's really a nicely done movie, nothing big and flashy. I like the combination of the supernatural and the Old West. Having just seen "The Burrowers" and the silly/gory "Undead or Alive", I'd say there's a real trend building. "Copperhead" is another, with the rattlesnake invasion preceding the surprise appearance of the mother of all copperheads, plus Billy Drago! Billy's also in "Tremors 4: The Legend Begins". In the area of sci fi, we have "High Plains Invaders". So, this is an interesting corner in the SF/horror genre.

Oh! I also should mention "Ghost Town" (1988) and "Purgatory" (1999).

If I was going to have a movie marathon about the ghostly Old West, I definitely wouldn't mind running "Shiloh Falls" during it. It's a nifty little movie.
