I'm sure that the American version is even worse. I didn't have in mind this movie especially, but the French humor as a whole.

Take for example the movies of Louis de Funès. I really liked them when I was a kid, but now most of the look to me childish. The same is with Taxi series.

Few good jokes and the rest is overreacting, yelling and stupid faces.
