Cool Technology? Not Anymore!

Gee, I'd always thought telerobotics was a good idea as a way to a) allow people with physical handicaps to perform physical labor without overstressing their bodies, and b) providing work for people who would otherwise be rendered jobless by fully-autonomous robots.

Now nobody's gonna want to use it!

kinda reminded me of "Surrogates" in that respect

Now nobody's gonna want to use it? I do NOT get that.

Also...

Jobless. LOL! How about 1 child per family? If America/Mexico/ etc.. instate laws for Children. We could get rid of that nonsense. Really improve the quality of life!

Plus we would NOT have to artificially create SLAVE underclasses to do our work. Ummm Like the catholic church with their (No Birth Control) junk.

Sure.. believe in any god you want. Just make sure you don't KILL my nice Green Planet with your 22 kids per family crap!

Joss Wheadon! Sleeping in the parking lot for a year doesn't count as an Oscar win for "Toy Story!

lvcambot-2, Way to go to extremes to make your nonsensical point. So people either have 22 children or just 1 child, huh? what about people who want to have 3 kids? 4?

Both after The Surrogates and after this movie, i still would love to be able to control robots by laying down in a comfy sofa.

I thought it was strange how they had the advanced technology of the "neuro-interface", but were not able to get A.I. for robots good enough to do some of the simpler work depicted, like picking oranges. It's probably even possible today, it's just cheaper to use low-wage workers.

If this is the future I hope Armadeggon comes first and we don't live to see it coming any closer to us. Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us!
