A film where Mexicans are the good guys?

Hardly Hollywood fare.

Machete? Che? (Not Mexican, but close.) I think Hollywood has an obsession with minorities.

If you look at this advanced poster for the upcoming Neuromancer film, you can see that the "trodes" from that story (the man-machine interface tech) have been interpreted a lot like the "nodes" from Sleep Dealer.

Neuromancer as it stands (with Vincenzo Natali directing) currently isn't a full-on Hollywood production (mainly independent producers), but has funding of 60million, so I hope it could take influence from some of Sleep Dealer's aesthetics and put a bit more money behind them. The Sleep Dealer film is itself quite obviously influenced by the Neuromancer book.
