I think that MOT is much better than both SLEEPLESS and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
I really hope you are right. Sleepless was ok and phantom has grown on me. I can't wait to see it. With Argento I always remind myself that at first I hated Phenomena yet grew to love it. No other directors work has that effect on me.

I enjoyed La Terza Madre. Had low expectations from what I've been hearing, but I was pleased. I had a couple of issues with it, but most of the time I don't like his movies after one viewing - this one I did. It took me probably 4 - 5 times until I got Tenebrae and Profundo Rosso.
SPOILERS!!!
First off, I loved the gore. The baby off the bridge was a little much - I have a three month old - but it was probably his most gruesome - which I was happy about!
I also liked that they gave nods to the other two films.
I was a little dissapointed that it didn't have the hallucinogenic (sp?) qualities that I loved so much about the other two. And also, as is with a lot of his movies, the acting was less than desirable. (But who cares, it's Argento, right?)!
8/10 - up there with Stendhal and Opera

I have to disagree with you, AvrilForLife. I bought The Church on a whim and because I love italian horror, but I was extremely dissapointed by it. I watched it two more times to give it a fair shot and ended up trading it in. I loved MOT, though.
