Does anybody else LOVE the young witches?

While "The Third Mother" didn't really fulfill my expectations and I can only accept it as a guilty pleasure (which is not what I was hoping), I have to say: I absolutely love the young witches with their overly done hair and make up, the 80s look, the constant laughing for no reason and their bitchy attitude. Everything about it looks so fake and cheesy, but instead of hating it, I can't help but loving it.

I especially love the scene when they arrive to the airport. I know a lot of people hate this film (it's only reasonable) and the young witches got a lot of criticism, but for som reason, I smile every time I see them

I guess that Argento was in the joke with this scene, he was mocking youth, spoilt celebrities, out of control...at least that's my point of view.
I have no special issue with the film, some of the bits are a bit clumsy (especially Asia talking with her dead mother) or frustrating because of the average budget or fast pace but it's an entertaining horror movie with some crazy inventive ideas and cool scenes.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense, actually. I think Argento was being intentionally humorous with the young witches. I mean, they were TOO caricature-ish to be taken seriously.

The witches actually worked for me too. I would have to say that a lot of their campiness though has got to be attributed to the obvious language dubbing.
