Ok i just got to season 5 on episode 3 and Betty has apparently put on a few pounds and looks really different. I mean did the actress really gain weight or was it prosthetic's and effects making her look fat for the story? Cause i find it hard to believe the actress got that fat since season 4.

I know that but her face and everything got real fat for some reason, Betty's face didn't puff up like that when she was pregnant.
shareThey showed that Peggy was stress-eating. Remember when she was at the food cart and told the attendant she wanted the big Danish pastry, "the one in the back"? Don't recall what stressful thing had happened right before that, but something. There was also a scene in her apartment, something about eating her roommate's food.
So in addition to the other thing, she had gained weight.
Yeah i just meant they used the same kinda fat prosthetics for Peggy as they seem to have did with Betty in season 5.
shareShe was pregnant eating. Women can get real hungry in their first trimester. That's how we knew when my wife was pregnant - suddenly she was eating 5 meals a day, lol!
sharei'm just re-binging the season when she was in therapy she had said she had an issue with over eating but her Mother watched her like a hawk. I think with Don gone and Henry loved her unconditionally she felt free to overeat. She also had a thyroid problem that may have contributed to it.
