Does anyone feel differently about products because of Mad Men?

Does anyone feel differently about the products they use or the companies that produce them because of how those companies were portrayed in Mad Men?

I purchased 5 Honda motorcycles over the span of about 15 years (1 used, 4 brand new). Sold the last one about 9 years ago but I miss riding.

I got nostalgic watching S4:E5 "The Chrysanthemum and the Sword" when the Honda man came in and said "We want uh more driver for moto-cycle". I imagined how some real conversation led to some real ad campaign that led to Honda's success in the U.S. market, and that eventually influenced my buying decision.

Haven't finished the episode yet. I sure hope Roger Sterling doesn't *beep* it up...

Can't say I feel any differently about Secor laxative though.

I learned about Hershey bars:

Interesting, thanks for posting that. It's funny, before I started bingeing from S1, I think I only saw the last part of the series finale. I remember the Coca-Cola ending but don't remember too much about Hershey, must have missed it or not paid attention - I look forward to re-watching that episode...

It's a key episode, because Don's facade crumbles for the first time in public. As Roger said to him afterward, "You know, you sh!t the bed in there."

Consequently, Don was given a forced leave of absence by the other partners.
