Anyone else think Bobby killed himself? (here be spoilers)

Zach G's character is very depressed towards the end of the movie. Especially after the scene with his wife screaming at him in front of his kid. He only watches the pizza party for a moment and leaves.
When its time for the main character to go home the next day the doc tells him that Bobby went home very early that very morning. How sad. Craig doesn't blink an eye.

I watched this yesterday and thought the same thing. I think seeing Craig live there for a week then come out with his whole life ahead of him, tons of opportunities/friends/family & Emma Roberts. Whilst he was going out into the tough world with no job, no money and so on.

Craig seemed like a decent guy but he really didn't seem to care about Bobby when he was leaving. The only thing which doesn't make me think he died is that he isn't mentioned in the end part when he is listing all the stuff he gets up to once he is out. And given that he does voluntary work at the hospital, I'm sure they would have heard if he killed himself. I reckon he just never made contact with him afterwards

Yes I kind of thought that too, but I hope not. But they leave that question unanswered.

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, or doesn't.

i like to be optimistic, maybe he killed his wife.

i mostly will not be able to answer your reply, since marissa mayer hacked my email, no notification

I thought that, too. I also think that he didn't actually get into a group home and knew he was going to end up homeless.

I also thought he may have ended it sadly, I think there is something in the way the writers phrased the answer Smitty gives Craig when he asks if Bobby is still around. He says ''Yeah, Bobby ''left'' pretty early this morning''.
Feels like it's subliminal messaging saying he ended his life and passed in the early hours of that day.

I think it looked like Craig cared. He just didn't know what to do. He was young and naive.
Bobby knew they could never really be friends 'on the outside'.
But I thought it was a hopeful ending- he talked to his dtr, and hopefully he got into the group home... Or I am I just being naive?!?

"Bobby knew they could never really be friends 'on the outside'."

Why not? One of my friends in high school was a retired air force guy in his 40s

Interesting. I didn't get the impression Bobby killed hilself. I'll have to watch it again. Thanks.
